Dr. Sabih B. Alam Joins the Medical Staff at AllianceHealth Durant

AllianceHealth Durant and AllianceHealth Medical Group are proud to welcome Sabih B. Alam M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Alam is an internal medicine physician.

Dr. Alam received his medical degree at Dow International Medical College (DIMC) in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency at HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine Oak Hill Hospital Program in Brooksville, FL. Class of 2022.

Dr. Alam has a special interest in preventive medicine for the pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. He also enjoys helping patients improve their health and wellness, both physical and mental.

As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Alam has received training in both acute care of injuries and chronic management of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid diseases.

Services offered will include annual physicals, pre-participation sports physicals, in-office EKGs, skin biopsies, suturing of small lacerations, skin tag removal, ingrown toenail removal and joint injections for the treatment of arthritis.

Dr. Alam enjoys golf, reading, weight lifting, basketball, politics, technology, sports, health, dogs, traveling and history. He can speak multiple languages including Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and limited Spanish.

Dr. Alam looks forward to providing exceptional care in our community with patience and compassion. Starting September 28, he is accepting new patients and most insurance plans are welcome.
